Original Works A private collection of paintings, mixed-media works, and character-driven objects from the HABITAT universe. Each piece is a fragment of a world still being built.
HABITAT is a Chicago-born practice making paintings, mixed-media objects, and the SLEEPYSOL universe. The work is built from layered paint and everyday materials — sand, flour, fabric, found matter — applied by scraper, blade, and hand, then sealed. Every piece carries more than its surface shows: coded titles, embedded references, layers under layers. The archive is the record of a world still being built. Its oldest voice is Pro’seth.
Suns, voids, and the act of creation — the HABITAT universe at its widest scale.
Lakefront, skyline, and street — works rooted in the city that made them.
Characters and small stories — the playful, narrative edge of the archive.
Material-first experiments — moss, plaster, plexiglass, reactive ink, and process.
Built with scrapers, blades, rags, and hands. Mixed into the paint: sand, flour, baking soda, turmeric — pantry matter, used for texture and story, never for color. Sealed for stability.
Works on power, language, and ownership. Viewable by appointment.

When Sol fractured across Solharr, its consciousness scattered into six dimensions. Each shard kept one psychological frequency intact — six SLEEPYSOLS, six ways of being. Same glow, different flow.
